The MOMS Club of Fayetteville is holding a fundraiser to support the Church Street Park improvement project.

The group is offering entries to win four One-Day Park Hopper Passes to Walt Disney World (valued at more than $600) in exchange for a $10 donation to the park. The drawing will be held June 1 at City Hall with the winning ticket drawn by Fayetteville Mayor Greg Clifton.

To get an entry, stop by the club’s table May 17 at Taste of Fayette or May 29 at Lunch on the Lawn. You can also email churchstreetparkproject@gmail.com for more information on buying your ticket online with PayPal.

The MOMS Club of Fayetteville is a local chapter of an international support group for stay-at-home and working moms. They provide socialization for moms and kids as well as performing service projects in their local areas.

The Church Street Park improvement project is the Fayetteville chapter’s largest service project to date, raising more than $30,000 in the last three years. With these funds, the group has removed outdated equipment at the park, located on Church Street between Georgia Ave. and Hwy. 54 in downtown Fayetteville, and replaced the equipment with new, ADA-compliant play structures. The current phase of fundraising will support the club’s vision of an improved basketball court as well as pathways to the new park amenities.
