Students in the Peachtree City Elementary Community Service Club (shown above) are working on their Annual Yard Sale project. Each year the money from the sale benefits a local charity and the school. This year the students have chosen Joshua’s Gift as the recipient of proceeds. Joshua’s Gift is a nonprofit organization dedicated to feeding hungry school children by sending home backpacks filled with food for the weekends when children do not have access to the school lunch program and may go hungry. It serves the Fayette County area.
The yard sale is set for May 2 between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. The school is located at 201 Wisdom Road in Peachtree City.
