Mr. Ralph “Pop-Pop” Padovano, 77, of Brooks, died April 19, 2015.
Ralph was born in Brooklyn, NY. He loved building and racing cars. After his retirement from AAMCO Transmission, he enjoyed working on his farm, where he raised quarter horses.
Mr. Padovano is survived by his wife of 56 years Nancy Padovano; daughters Patricia Bridges and Lisa Brand; sons Ralphie Padovano, Gerry & Natalie Padovano, and Fred & Kathy Padovano; grandchildren Billy, Nancy Rita, Ralph, Frank, Callie-Marie, Margaret, Pasquale, Salvatore, Sofia, Emma, and Joshua; great-grandchildren Anthony, Chloé Mae, Dominick, and Eden; brother Robert & Maryann Padovano and sister Angela & Lamar Minyard.
Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Brooks Memorial Cemetery. The family received friends Tuesday from 1:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m.
