The McDonough Road Baptist Church will have Spring Revival Sunday-Wednesday, April 19-22. Dr. Richard Jackson, president of the Jackson Center for Evangelism and Encouragement in Brownwood, Texas, will be the featured preacher. Music will be provided by the McDonough Road Baptist Celebration Choir and Orchestra.
“Richard Jackson is a great preacher and has a gift for calling believers to deeper commitment,” said David L. Chancey, pastor. “He also has an evangelistic heart and wants to see the lost come to Christ. He’ll do a tremendous job.”
Jackson was pastor of North Phoenix Baptist Church for over 25 years, and led the church to grow from 500 members to over 22,000 members. He led his church to be a leader in baptisms among Southern Baptist churches, said Chancey.
Sunday’s services are at 10:55 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday-Wednesday services are at 6:30 p.m. Bible study for all ages is at 9:45 a.m. A Sunday school breakfast is set for Sunday at 9 a.m. Meals by reservation will be served Monday-Wednesday at 5 p.m.
