Sue Aldana has been named executive director of Camp Southern Ground, a 400-acre nonprofit camp founded by GRAMMY Award-winning artist Zac Brown and currently under development in Fayette County.

Southern Ground CEO, Rob Parker will continue to serve as President of Camp Southern Ground.

Aldana is joining the Camp Southern Ground team to lead its daily operations on the journey to build the camp.  She has over 33 years of experience in the nonprofit field, and has worked with board and staff members to raise funds, build facilities, and develop programs.

For the last 13 years Aldana was the national vice president of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in Atlanta.  Her background and experience is a perfect fit as the camp focus transitions from the infrastructure phase to constructing the “core essentials” for camp operation, according to a press release from the camp Board of Directors.
