0Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone announces the hiring of a new music director, Lynn Craig.
Craig, originally from Florida, moved to Georgia in the 1990s to pursue schooling and a career as a media specialist. She is currently employed by the Henry County School System.
She has an extensive background in leading choral music and comes to Hopewell from the First United Methodist Church in Stockbridge.
She says her current challenge is blending contemporary and traditional music into the worship service so the entire congregation feels comfortable.
Hopewell is at 351 Jenkins Rd., across from Sandy Creek High.
