Gift of a meal

Meals on Wheels of Coweta, a not-for-profit organization that helps older adults who depend on home delivered meals, is accepting donations for elderly adults this holiday season.

The donations will go to inviduals who will receive a festive Christmas gift certificate that shows they are cared for.

Donations are tax deductible so you will receive an acknowledgment for tax purposes.

Mail donations to Meals on Wheels of Coweta, Inc., P.O. Box 73437, Newnan, Ga., 30271 no later than Wednesday, Dec. 17. Include the name and address of the gift recipient. Meals on Wheels will mail the gift certificate in time to be received before Christmas.

If participants send a donation to honor the memory of a deceased friend or loved one, be sure to indicate that the donation is “in memory of” and furnish the name and address of the person receiving notice of the donation.
