Join Dale Phenicie, author of Be Home By Dark, as he reflects on “the good ole days” and growing up in a small town in the years following WWII. Hear stories from his childhood, where freedom to roam was part of everyday life and the phrase “it takes a village” truly reflected how communities looked out for one another. Dale will share the inspiration behind his book and what those formative years revealed about connection, community, and growing up in a very different era. Along the way, the conversation opens the door for shared memories and personal stories, creating a warm space to reflect on what those times meant then, and what they still mean today.
