Mr. James Robert Clarke, Jr of Newnan passed away October 10, 2014.
He served his country in the United States Army from 1959-1963 and did tours in Korea and Germany. Mr. Clarke retired from Delta Airlines after 31 years of service and previously served as a deacon at Southwest Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Teresa Beck Clarke of Newnan; daughter, Stephanie Clarke of Atlanta; son, Steve Clarke and his wife Susan of Newnan; grandchildren, Savannah, Tyler and Libby Clarke; sister, Patricia Clager of Waynesville, N.C.; nephews, James Clager; Robert Clager; niece, Linda Linch and cousin, Barbara Hendricks.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Southwest Christian Church with Minister Craig Kingston officiating.
