Reid Piper, 79 of Brooks, Ga. passed away June 16, 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Mary Blaney Piper; son David and Heidi Piper; daughter Kelly and Michael Donnelly, grandsons Zane & Stephanie Piper, True Piper, Zachary Leppert and great grandson Van Reid Piper.
Reid retired from Amoco Oil Company in 1991 after 35 years. At the time of his retirement he was Director of Human Resources of Amoco Fabric and Fiber, Germany. He worked for Publix in Peachtree City the past 7 years.
A memorial service will be held Saturday June 28th at 11 a.m. at Brooks United Methodist Church, 119 Morgan Mill Road, Brooks, Ga. 30205.
Reid requested that everyone please wear casual attire in keeping with the theme of celebration.
In lieu of flowers Reid requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Brooks UMC memorial garden fund.
