“What is that Weed Invading Your Yard?” Georgia has over a hundred plants that are categorized as “invasive”. This means they pose a threat to natural areas, crowd out of native plants and are likely to cause environmental hardships. Usually kudzu is the first invasive that comes to mind – but there are so many others. Join us as Frank & Patti Hiller, Clayton County Master Gardener Extension Volunteers, share the information they have researched. Bring your questions and we’ll find an answer to help you.
The classes are held in Room 210, next door to the Fayette County Extension Office and will last about an hour each, followed by a Q&A session. These classes are free, however, they are subject to cancellation if we do not receive a positive response. Please RSVP and provide the following information: name(s) of those attending and contact information. You can e-mail fmga08@gmail.com or call the office at 770-305-5412 ext. 7.
