Summer Wednesdays starts tonight
Woolsey Baptist Church will kick-off its Summer Wednesdays program on May 28 at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to join in for free pizza and music, Student Redneck Olympics and children’s water fun (wear clothes that can get wet). There is something for everyone:  Preschool, children, students, ladies Bible study, and for adults, Crazy Busy Group, choir and prayer group. MRBC youth to host yard sale
The student ministry of McDonough Road Baptist Church, Fayetteville, will host a yard sale on the front lawn of the church on Friday and Saturday, May 30-31, from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. Proceeds go to help with expenses of the upcoming summer youth beach retreat. Hot dogs and drinks also will be on sale. The church is located at 352 McDonough Road, just past the department of drivers services building.

VBS starts at Woolsey Baptist June 16
Woolsey Baptist Church, 115 Hampton Road in Fayetteville, will have Vacation Bible School  June 16-20, from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Family Night will be June 20 at 7 p.m. This year’s theme is Lifeway’s Agency D3: Discover, Decide, Defend (I Peter 3:15). Vacation Bible School is for ages four through completed sixth grade. Register online (http://www.woolseybaptist.org/) or stop by and  register in person. Providence opens VBS registration
Providence United Methodist Church will host “Weird Animals” VBS June 9-13 from 9 a.m.-noon. There is no charge. Children entering kindergarten through fifth grade can be registered  at provumc.com or at  the church. T-shirts and VBS music CDs can be purchased for $5 each. St. Paul Lutheran plans VBS
Vacation Bible School at St. Paul Lutheran Church and School, 700 Ardenlee Parkway, Peachtree City,  will be June 9-13, from 9 a.m. – noon and is free of cost to all three year olds through rising fifth graders. Those who are entering middle school are welcome to serve as volunteers. This year’s theme is “Weird Animals, Where Jesus’s Love is One-of-a-Kind. “ Register at www.stpaulptc.org/2014-vbs.

COS changes worship schedule
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City has announced a change in the worship schedule for the summer. Contemporary worship in the Fellowship Hall will now take place at 9:45 a.m. Traditional services remain unchanged -— Saturday at 7 p.m., Sunday at 8:30 and 11 a.m.

WOG changes worship times
Word of God Lutheran Church has changed its worship times for the summer.  Sunday worship service is now at 10:15 a.m. Adult Sunday school is at 9 a.m.  The church is at 303 Kelly Drive, Suite 10, Peachtree City.For more info, visit www.woglutheran.org.
