Patricia Anne Meyer, 88, of Fairhope, Ala., passed away on April 17, 2014 at a local healthcare facility.
Pat was born in Lima, Ohio and was raised in Montezuma, Iowa. She proudly served as a WAC in WWII and spent her working life as a legal secretary. Pat enjoyed music and sang in “The Sweet Adelines.” While living in Peachtree City, she loved golf and was an active member of the “Nine& Eighteen Holers.” Pat moved to Alabama two years ago to be near her family and enjoy the Gulf Coast.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert William Meyer and is survived by loving family, daughters, Kathleen McDaniel and her husband Rick, Robin Hulse and her husband, Ken and her son, William “Bill” Meyer; her grandson, Brian Hulse and great grandson Jack Hulse, and granson Sean Hulse and wife, Heather and great grandson, Hayden Hulse.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Pat’s life was held at 3 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2014, in the Camellia Room at The Homestead Village in Fairhope.
