As a follow-up to our guide to Christmas Eve services in Fayette County, we have decided to publish this guide to Christmas Eve church services in the neighboring cities of Senoia and Sharpsburg. Author’s note- This list may not be comprehensive, as it is based on information publicly available on the Internet. If your church has a Christmas Eve service and is not included in the list, please let us know!
Sharpsburg
- College Heights Baptist Church will hold a Christmas Eve service at 5pm
- For those desiring a more causal option, Community Christian Church will hold a simple thirty-minute gathering on Christmas Eve at 5pm.
- Faith Bible Church will hold three Christmas Eve services at 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm.
- Faith Lutheran Church will also hold three Christmas Eve services at 3pm, 4:30pm, and 6pm. There will also be a Christmas Day service at 10:30 am.
- Mt Gilead United Methodist Church will hold their Christmas Eve service from 6-7pm.
- Trinity Church (Assembly of God) will hold their Christmas Eve service at 5pm.
- St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church will also have two gatherings on Christmas Eve: Christmas Vigil at 4pm, and Christmas Mass at 7pm.
- Sharpsburg Baptist Church will have a Christmas Eve service at 5pm, with the website specifying that the Lord’s Supper will be served.
- The Sharpsburg location of GO Church will have Christmas Eve services 8:15am, 9:45am, and 11:45am.
Senoia
Peachtree Baptist Church does not list a Christmas Eve service on December 24, but a special Christmas Service will be held on December 21, the Sunday before Christmas.
White Oak Associated Reformed Presbyterian Church will hold a Christmas Eve service from 5-6pm.
New Hope Baptist Church will hold an earlier service on December 23 at 6:30pm, and two services on Christmas Eve at 1pm and 3pm.
Senoia United Methodist Church will hold two services on Christmas Eve at 5pm and 8pm.
Peachtree Baptist Church does not list a Christmas Eve service on December 24, but a special Christmas Service will be held on December 21, the Sunday before Christmas.
