Fayetteville, Georgia (September 3, 2025) The City of Fayetteville Finance Department has announced the return of the annual Art Contest, which will highlight the beauty of Fayetteville. This year’s theme is “No Limits on Imagination.” The contest is open to residents and non-residents, all forms of artistic media will be considered, and the contest concludes on Friday, October 3, 2025.

“Whether artists are into photography, pencil art, painting, or digital graphics, we look forward to seeing whatever media they choose to express the beauty of Fayetteville,” said City of Fayetteville Senior Accounting Manager Karen Austin. “We have been amazed in years past at the quality of the artwork we have received, and I’m sure this year will be no exception.”

Up to ten entries will be chosen as honorable mentions, and special distinction will be given to the top three entries. Two of those will be featured on upcoming City of Fayetteville budget books. The entries of the top three winners and all honorable mentions will be featured in the City Hall lobby. The winners will also be recognized at the October 16 Fayetteville City Council Meeting.

Participants are encouraged to choose objects and vistas that are commonly recognized as depicting and representing the City of Fayetteville.
