Voter registration drives coming to local high schools

The local chapter of the Knights of Columbus will be conducting voter registration drives at area high schools this month.

To register, applicants must be at least 17.5 years old though they cannot vote until they are 18. Applicants must also be a legal resident of Fayette County and a citizen of the United States.

The drives will take place from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and are scheduled as follows: • Apr. 12-13 at Fayette County High School, Apr.14-15 at Sandy Creek, Apr. 19-20 at McIntosh, Apr. 22-23 at Starr’s Mill, Apr. 26-27 at Whitewater, Apr. 29 at Our Lady of Mercy.
