Acting on a lead from a citizen, police have found a missing 12-year-old with special needs who wandered away from an office building in the Westpark area.
A citizen who had received a phone alert about the child called 911 to report seeing a child matching the description on a bicycle traveling on the sidewalk along Ga. Highway 54 West.
Police responded to the area quickly and confirmed the youngster was the one they were looking for.
The Peachtree City Fire Department assisted in the search along with the police department. The juvenile was reported missing just before 11 a.m.
