Mr. Larry D. Matthews, age 69, of Tyrone passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Patton Matthews; son, Michael L. Matthews and is survived by his companion, Cherry Graham; son, Ken Matthews and his wife, Susie; daughters, Cortney Dotson and her husband, Gary, Ashley Matthews; siblings, Betty Adams, Noreene Davis, Tommy Matthews, Barbara Neeley, Regina Hembree; grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Nicholas, Ivy, and Alexander.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Garrett officiating. Those wishing may sign the online guestbook at www.parrottfuneralhome.com.
