At a recent Rotary Club of Peachtree City luncheon, Casey Motter, tells his inspiring story of how he “got the call” to try-out for the Atlanta Braves announcer position.

Born in Smyrna, Ga., Motter is the father of three boys. At an early age, Motter was often told by family and friends that he had the gift of an announcer’s voice. This became reality for Motter in 1998 when he began his first voice work as the volunteer parent announcer for the Peachtree City Packers Football League and the Sharpsburg Little League Baseball Organization. His next announcing work was at the Senoia Speedway followed by his current position as the Public Broadcast Announcer for the Atlanta Braves.

“….Realizing that my voice is a gift from God, I want to share my story to inspire others to go out and use their gift for the local community,”  said Motter.
