In conjunction with the Peachtree City Rotary Club Dragon Boat Races and International Festival in September, officials have scheduled Saturday crew lessons and practices for July 15, Aug. 12 and Aug. 26.

The boats will be loading at 12:45 p.m., 2:15 p.m., and 3:45 p.m. for about an hour on the water. The public is invited, whether you plan on entering a team in the September Festival or not. The practices will be at the All Children’s Playground and Picnic Park behind the Library at Lake Peachtree.

There will be a $5 per person fee per training session that covers all paddles, life jackets, boats, and instruction. Wear boating clothes, sunscreen and “wettable” shoes.

All skill levels welcome — no experience necessary. Open to everyone (ages 14 and up).
