The PTC Flash competed in the region meet Nov. 18 at Heritage Christian Church against athletes and teams from all over Georgia and South Carolina.
Taylor Tarpley was the region champion for 11-12 girls. Andi McQuade and Clark Thompson were runners-up in the 8-under girls and 9-10 boys races. The 8-under girls also finished in third place as a team.
The Flash had 14 athletes qualify to move on to the USATF Junior Olympics National Cross Country Championships Dec. 9. in Tallahassee.
