0Starr’s Mill defeated Harris County in two straight games in the round of 16 to move on in the GHSA state baseball tournament.
The Panthers will travel to Carrollton May 9 for the AAAAA quarterfinal series.
Whitewater fell to Veterans in the third game of their round-of-16 series.
Each series is a best-of-three, starting with a doubleheader and the third game the next day if necessary.
The semifinals start May 15 and the championship series begins May 21. According to the bracket on the GHSA website, the Panthers will play at home as long as they stay alive.
