Fayette Presbyterian Church (FPC) will hold its 2nd Annual Valentine’s Day dinner on Feb. 6 at 5:30 p.m. to honor the women of the church. As they did last year, the men’s group will prepare and serve the meal to the ladies. All men will be wearing semi-formal black tuxedo attire.
“This event is brought by the Men of FPC solely to honor our church women who do so much to serve the church, families, and the communities,” a spokesperson said. “All women of the church may invite their family members for this special dinner. Last year the FPC Valentine’s dinner had an attendance of well over 100 women and their family guests. The men’s group is expecting as many or more this year. Not only was the food and service well received, but special Valentine music and video slides were offered. Several couples got up and danced.”
Women who are not members of FPC and their families also are invited to attend. For first time attendees there will be “no cost” to the women or their family guests, but reservations are required. Phone or email ahead to “reserve a meal” for each person.
For reservations, contact the men’s group moderator, Richard Morris, at WoodCarver242@Yahoo.com, his assistant, John Sackett, at John.Sackett@MSN.com, or call the church office, 770-461-7147
Fayette Presbyterian Church is at 791 Forest Ave.(Ga. Hwy. 92 N), Fayetteville. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to be seated by 5:30 p.m.
