Starr’s Mill drama christened an Honor Troupe

The consistently award-winning drama department at Starr’s Mill High can add another accolade to their resume. Starr’s Mill’s International Thespian Troupe has been named an Honor Troupe at the silver honor level by the International Thespian Society.

In order to be named an honor troupe at the silver honor level, the troupe must complete 30 theatre productions, along with community and theatre outreach.

“It is a huge honor, as we are set apart from the other schools in the state of Georgia,” said Starr’s Mill Theatre Director Lauren Kuykendall, noting that it is the first time the school’s drama department has received the honor.
