Sigma Gamma Rho gives to Families In Transition

The generosity of Sigma Gamma Rho is making a difference in the lives of Fayette County Public Schools students. Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated donated $25 Amazon gift cards to graduating seniors in the Families In Transition program. They also gave cards offering words of congratulation and encouragement to the students as they embark on the next phase of their lives.

Families In Transition provides comprehensive services to children and youth attending Fayette County Public Schools who are experiencing homelessness. The program ensures enrollment and educational stability for homeless children and youth. It provides enrollment assistance, transportation assistance, academic support, after school enrichment, school supplies, and community resources.
