FFBC’s program will honor vets

Fayetteville First Baptist Church will host a special program honoring veterans and those currently serving in the U.S. military Thursday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m. at the church, 205 E. Stonewall Ave., Fayetteville.

The featured speaker will be Chaplain (Maj. Gen.) Douglas L. Carver, U.S. Army. retired. The program also will feature the Whitewater Middle School Treble Chorus and Southernaires Big Band.

A reception will follow the service.
