0The Fayette County Retired Educators Association was honored with an official proclamation at the October 23 Fayette County Board of Education meeting.
The proclamation honoring the retired educators of Fayette County noted that they have dedicated their lives to teaching and enriching the minds of our county’s youth. Their countless contributions to our public education system have helped shape the lives of millions of Fayette County residents.
Governor Brian Kemp proclaimed November 5, 2023 as Retired Educators Day in Georgia, and the Board of Education followed suit, echoing it as Retired Educators Day in Fayette County.
