All princesses, cowboys, and other characters are invited to the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church Fall Festival on Sunday, Oct. 28 from 3 – 5:30 p.m.
The church parking lot located off Melissa Segars Way will be transformed into carnival-type atmosphere with inflatables, games, BBQ dinner, music and trunk-or-treat. All of the events are free and open to the community.
“We will have special organized group and individual games for families to participate in throughout the afternoon as well as carnival-style games to benefit our Partner in Education, North Fayette Elementary School,” says the Rev. Kristin Heiden, minister of Christian formation. “This will get the whole family involved in the day’s activities and give everyone an opportunity to engage in service to the community.”
Also, this year is the return of the pumpkin sale in front of the church office.
Different size pumpkins will be on sale beginning Saturday, Oct. 20 through Saturday, Oct. 27.
Proceeds will benefit the church’s preschool and Mother’s Morning Out program.
Fayetteville First United Methodist Church is at 175 East Lanier Ave., Fayetteville. The church office number is 770-461-4313.
