‘Growing’ With The Flow of Big Change

Change. We see it every day, sometimes in small ways, sometimes in huge shifts. Right now, we’re witnessing change in the political climate. We also see it in the social media landscape, like TikTok’s ban and reinstatement over the weekend. There’s change in our health, in the way we look as we age, and in the way our businesses must operate to thrive among even more change.

It can be tough to adjust to change all the time, but that’s why staying flexible while remaining grounded is so important. When you have a firm foundation, change happens around you, but you remain steady.

So, What’s Your Foundation?

When change is swirling all around, what keeps you grounded? Is it a dedicated routine that brings structure to your day? A morning practice that helps you set your intention? Maybe it’s just a quick call to a trusted friend to talk things through. What went right, what went wrong, and where you can grow.

Staying consistent in what grounds us makes change manageable. I’ve learned it’s less about resisting it and more about standing firm while it flows. That’s where growth happens. Embrace change as a catalyst for growth and you’ll find yourself more open to learning, adapting, and thriving in ways you never expected. 

Trusting What You’ve Buil

Businesses face the same change, and we could all get stuck in trying to predict the future. But trusting the foundation you’ve built and leaning into your purpose is much more fulfilling, and it causes far less anxiety.

The tools you use, the routines you follow, and the values you uphold are your guideposts. Stay true to what works, but don’t be afraid to adapt this year. Experiment with new ideas, try a fresh approach, and see change as a way to grow. As long as you’re grounded in a solid foundation, change doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. Instead, it becomes an opportunity. It’s a chance to grow into something even better.
