0A Fairburn man has been arrested on child molestation charges by Fayette County Sheriff’s investigators in a case where the molestation occurred over a two-year period.
Fayette County Sheriff’s spokesman Brent Rowan said investigators on Aug. 28 arrested 24 year-old Fairburn resident Christian Dionta Evans on charges of child molestation and aggravated child molestation.
Rowan said the arrest was connection with a child molestation case which occurred between a two year period of 2011 and 2012.
The case involved Evans engaging in sexual intercourse with a juvenile at a residence on Weldon Road, Rowan said. The case is currently under investigation where investigators are not ruling out the possibility of additional charges, Rowan added.
