At the recent Youth Sunday service, young people at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Fayetteville brought forward filled school backpacks to be given to refugee children in Atlanta. Parishioners donated 36 of the backpacks plus other assorted school supplies. They have been sent to the Refugee Resettlement and Immigration Services of Atlanta, which will give them to refugee children who will be starting school this fall. Receiving the backpacks are the Rev. Rita Henault, left, rector, and Morrison Mack, acolyte master.. Photo/Special.
