Rev. Robert Fitler, of Sharpsburg, Ga., past away on June 30, 2012 just days before his 81st birthday.
A praise and worship memorial service will be Saturday, July 14 at 2 p.m. at Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City, Ga. Interment will be in Vicksburg, Miss.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Frances Fitler, son Douglas Fitler and wife Candy, daughter Susan Godfrey and husband Rick, nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Bob was born in Greenville, Miss. on July 13, 1931.
He retired as a minister of the Presbyterian Church in America and served The Lord faithfully for 44 years. He pastored churches in South Carolina, Mississippi, and Georgia as well as serving on the mission field in Brazil, South America.
Bob had a tremendous impact on many lives worldwide and he will be greatly missed.
