Marjorie T. Readdy, 75, of Griffin passed away on June 18, 2012.
She was born in Marietta, Ga., on August 27, 1936. Her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her life’s work. She is a member of the Catholic Church of St. Gabriel.
She is preceded in death by her son Donald Watson.
She is survived by her husband, Robert G. Readdy; daughter, Kim Wilson of Newnan, Ga.; son, Mark Watson and wife Connie of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, Joshua Wilson and wife Catherine of Peachtree City, Ga., Zachary Wilson and wife Mollie of Tyrone, Ga., Dwight Watson and wife Holly of San Francisco, Calif., Kellie Watson of Memphis, Tenn., and Lindsay Schnute and husband Jared of Atlanta, Ga.; great grandchildren, Luke, Joshua, Caroline, Jackson and Eliza Wilson and Allie Watson; her sisters Pat Davidson of Duluth, Ga., and Robyn Weeman and husband Steve of Fayetteville, Ga., and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Gabriel, Fayetteville. Father Michael McWhorter officiated. The inurnment followed at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, Ga.
