Michael Edward Hehir, passed away on May 17, 2024, in Fayetteville, Georgia, at the age of 65. He was born on December 20, 1958, in East Point, Georgia.
He spent his career in construction as a carpenter, showcasing his skills and dedication to his craft throughout his work life.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, John and Gloria Hehir, and his niece, Desten Hehir. He is survived by his sons, Chris (Michelle) Joiner, Rusty (Kalan) Joiner, and Michael (Rochelle) Hehir Jr.; Stepson, Michael Joiner; and stepdaughter, Amanda Baird. He will be missed by his grandchildren, Shade Duffy, Shylan Joiner, Kason Joiner, Chandler Joiner, Anslee Joiner, Georgia Joiner, Piper Partika, Joshua Davenport, Jacob Stalnaker, Jessalyn Hehir, Micky Joiner, David Joiner, Jeremiah Golden, and Dylan Golden. Michael is also survived by his brothers, Ronald Hehir, Dennis Hehir, John (Karen) Hehir, Herbert (Janie) Hehir, sisters, Mary Anderson and Gloria Hehir, and several nieces and nephews, special caretakers Sabrina Neesmith (niece) and Ginger Landrum, girlfriend Karen Davis.
Services for Michael were held in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home in Fayetteville, Georgia Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Visitation took place on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Michael was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park, Georgia.
