The Wildcats read together and celebrated together upon the completion of the 60 Days of Stories literacy program.

The 60 Days of Stories program, co-hosted by Whitewater High, Whitewater Middle, and the Fayette County Public Library, encouraged students to read for 1,200 minutes over 60 days. To meet the goal, students had to log at least 10 reading sessions in Beanstack during School Library Month.

Those who hit the goal were invited to an after-school party in the Whitewater High media center. Media specialists Matia Edwards of Whitewater High and Kathryn Thaxton of Whitewater Middle hosted a pizza party to celebrate the students who hit their reading goals. Along with pizza, students received goodie bags, and there were raffle prizes of gift cards and book bundles.
