Mark Edward Weir, 55, of Tyrone, Ga., entered into eternal rest with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday May 10, 2012.

Born on June 12, 1956 in Beaver Falls, Pa., Mark was a 1974 graduate of Clarion High School, and 1977 graduate of Clarion University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree. As a vice president area manager, he performed 35 years of dedicated service to Owens Illinois, Inc.

He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 34 years, Laurie of Tyrone, Ga.; children, Denice (Brad) Stephan of San Antonio, Texas; Daniel Black of Park City, Utah; and Molly Weir of Tyrone, Ga.; his parents Chuck and Shirley Weir of Tyrone, Ga.; sisters, Susan (Joe) Schuette of Brighton, Ill. and Lynn (Larry) Meyer of Austin, Texas; a brother, Mike (Reneí) Weir of Lorena, Texas; and four grandchildren, Nick, Timothy, Jake, and Sydney Stephan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews that he loved along with his two beloved border collies and three bloodhounds.

Mark forever touched our lives with his presence and was a gift for which we will always be thankful.

A memorial service was held at First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City, Ga., on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 1:55 p.m.
