Some of the brightest young minds gathered at the 2023 Fayette County Science Olympiad.

All 14 elementary schools competed at J.C. Booth Middle School. Sara Harp Minter Elementary won 1st place, the first time the Mountain Lions have ever won the county competition. Kedron finished in 2nd and Huddleston in 3rd. Braelinn and Crabapple Lane rounded out the top 5.

The teams from Sara Harp Minter and Kedron advance to the state meet at Kennesaw State on May 6.
