Members of the Fayetteville-based James Waldrop Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the Marquis de LaFayette Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) recently planted 18 pollinator trees at Patriot Park in Fayetteville.  8 Dogwood trees were planted near the monument and 10 Crepe Myrtle trees near the walkway.  This effort was accomplished with the cooperation of Cajen Rhodes, Assistant Director of Public Services for the City of Fayetteville.  It was initiated by the DAR in support of American patriotism and for the benefits of trees and pollination.

One of the main focuses of the DAR will be in preparing for the 250th Anniversary of the founding of our great nation in 2026.
