Jack Butler left this world on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 at the age of 55 to begin his rock’in tour of heaven.

A dedicated history enthusiast, classic rock lover, comedian, and grillmaster only begins to describe his life’s passions. He was a great storyteller, avid spades player, and proud member of the N.R.A. A true cat lover who could fix or improve anything.

He loved motorcycles, the Atlanta Braves and Gatorade. A proud member of the democratic party, who supported the occupy movement. He spent many summers visiting the North Georgia mountains and during his free time he watched his favorite show, Supernatural.

Lifelong best friend, and brother, Jimmy Ray Butler preceded him in death, along with their parents, Arthur Ray and Charlotte Butler. Maternal grandmother, Thelma Sams, paternal grandparents, Ray Martin and Delia Butler and granddaughter, Angel Audrina Charity Kimmel.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pam Butler; adoring daughter Brittany Bliss Butler; loving and proud adopted son, Keith David Kimmel Jr.; cousin Christy Butler and family; beloved mother-in-law Mrs. Butterworth and family and numerous friends.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at Parkway Garden Chapel Funeral Home. He was laid to rest on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012. at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Forest Park, Ga.

He will always be loved and never be forgotten. He shall remain in death as he did in life, a simple kind of man.
