Community volunteer program offers local organizations an opportunity to earn donations while supporting one of Georgia’s premier aviation events featuring the U.S. Navy Blue Angels

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. — Air Dot Show is inviting nonprofit organizations, civic groups, churches, school organizations, veterans organizations, and youth-serving organizations throughout Fayette, Coweta and surrounding counties to raise funds by participating in the Wings for a Cause™ Community Volunteer Program during the 2026 Atlanta Air Show, featuring the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, October 31–November 1 at Atlanta Regional Airport–Falcon Field.

The Wings for a Cause™ program enables nonprofit and civic organizations to earn donations by providing volunteer teams to assist with event operations. In addition to supporting one of Georgia’s premier aviation events during America’s 250th Anniversary celebration, participating organizations receive financial support to advance their own missions and community programs.

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Parking Operations
  • Hospitality & Guest Services
  • Merchandise
  • Event Site Set-up & Operations
  • Concessions
  • Sanitation

Organizations may participate for one or both event days. Depending upon volunteer participation, organizations may qualify for donations ranging from $625 to $2,500, with larger organizations eligible for increased donations. Donations are contingent upon volunteers completing their assigned shifts.

“The Atlanta Air Show has always been about bringing our community together to celebrate aviation, honor our military, and inspire future generations,” said David Anstey, Director of Hospitality for the Air Dot Show Tour. “As our nation continues celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary, Wings for a Cause provides local nonprofit organizations with an opportunity to become part of that celebration while raising funds that directly support their own community programs. It’s a partnership that benefits everyone.”

The Atlanta Air Show will once again rely on hundreds of community volunteers to help welcome thousands of spectators from across Georgia and the Southeast. Organizations that register early will have the greatest flexibility in volunteer assignments and additional time to recruit volunteers before onboarding begins.

Chris Madrid, Program Lead for the Wings for a Cause™ Community Volunteer Program, said the initiative is designed to strengthen both the event and the local nonprofit community.

“One of the most rewarding aspects of Wings for a Cause is seeing organizations work together while advancing their own missions. Whether supporting youth programs, veterans, education, faith-based ministries or other charitable causes, organizations are able to transform volunteer service into meaningful financial support for the people they serve.”

Returning for its second year supporting the Atlanta Air Show, Wings for a Cause™ has already demonstrated its value by helping local organizations raise funds through volunteer service while supporting one of the Southeast’s premier aviation events. The program reflects Air Dot Show’s ongoing commitment to building lasting partnerships with the communities that host its events.

Organizations interested in participating are encouraged to register as early as possible.
