Don’t miss your chance to be part of the first must-see book event of 2026! Give the readers in your life the perfect holiday gift—an evening with New York Times bestselling author of The Paris Wife, Paula McLain, on Friday, January 9.
Hosted by the Friends of the Peachtree City Library and presented by Trident Home Loans, the event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Peachtree City. Space is limited and this event is expected to sell out. Tickets are now available at www.ptclibraryfriends.org/mclain.
The evening will begin with a cash-bar reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by an Author Talk and Audience Q&A at 7:00 p.m. Tickets start at just $15, or choose the $35 bundle that includes one ticket and a signed copy of Skylark — Paula McLain’s brand-new novel releasing January 6, 2026. Guests who purchase a copy of Skylark with their event ticket will have their book signed and personalized by Paula McLain, and during the reception she will also be available for photos.
McLain — the New York Times bestselling author of The Paris Wife — returns with a dazzling novel set on the same Paris street across three centuries, charting the lives of two characters whose parallel journeys of resistance and rescue reveal the indelible imprint we leave on the world when we dare to defy darkness. In Skylark, McLain weaves a mesmerizing tale of Paris above and below—where a woman’s quest for artistic freedom in 1664 intertwines with a doctor’s dangerous mission during the German occupation in the 1940s, revealing a story of courage and resistance that transcends time.
A limited number of sponsorship packages are still available for businesses and individuals who wish to support the event and the work of the Friends of the Library. Visit www.ptclibraryfriends.org/contact to express your interest in available sponsorship opportunities.
