Felicia Jackson, 50, of Peachtree City was arrested on the morning of September 3 after driving under the influence and striking a pedestrian. According to the police report, she faces multiple charges including a DUI, felony hit and run, serious injury by vehicle, obstruction of a law enforcement officer and failure to maintain her lane.

Jackson hit a 57-year-old male pedestrian who was walking in the grassy area beside State Road 92 around 8:00 a.m. Following the incident, police say Jackson fled the scene, pulling into a driveway in a nearby subdivision with which she had no connection. Officers found her there based on witnesses’ accounts describing the incident and vehicle.

Jackson’s vehicle, a white Audi, sustained front-end damage, and officials reported finding pieces of the victim’s clothing inside the damaged area. Upon approaching Jackson, body camera footage shows her denying any alcohol consumption, swaying unsteadily, and refusing to take a breathalyzer test.

The victim remains in serious condition as the investigation continues.
