Dear Readers,

You may have noticed that I often sign off with “Love Is The Answer.” It’s not just a cheerful catchphrase—it’s a philosophy that guides every interaction. Think of life as a tennis match. Every serve, return, and volley sets the tone for what comes next. Etiquette, then, isn’t merely about choosing the correct fork or following rigid protocols—it’s about playing the game of life with respect, compassion, and, yes, a bit of finesse.

In tennis, a well-executed serve lays the foundation for a winning point, just as a genuine act of kindness can set the stage for a meaningful connection. When we approach every interaction with love, we’re not just playing by the rules—we’re enhancing the experience for everyone involved. So, each question I address starts with the simple yet profound premise of LOVE, the serve that can transform even the most challenging rally into an opportunity for grace and growth.

Imagine each encounter as a rally. There will be moments of triumph (easy points) and frequent missteps (unforced errors) that remind us of our humanity. But with love, every setback offers a chance for a fresh serve, a new opportunity to reconnect, rebuild, and rise above. In this ongoing match of life, our goal isn’t just to score points, but to preserve and honor the dignity of every person we meet.

So whether you’re pondering the nuances of proper etiquette, contemplating how to treat others, or striving to be your best self, remember, just like every game of tennis, it all begins with love.  And if you ever feel off, take a moment to adjust your swing—love always gives you a chance for a second serve. 

By the way, if love isn’t the answer, perhaps it’s time to reconsider the question.
