Inman hosting chess tourney January 31

Put your thinking caps on and join the Eagles for a bit of fun competition at the Inman Community Chess Tournament on Friday, January 31.

The tournament is open to any age and skill level from anywhere. Competition will be divided into novice, intermediate, and advanced. All players will participate in four rounds, regardless of performance.

The fun begins at 5 p.m. at Inman Elementary at 677 Inman Road in Fayetteville.

Registration is $25. All payments will be collected at the door. Registration includes 2 slices of pizza and a drink for each player. There will also be a a concession stand with extra pizza, drinks, popcorn, candy, and other snacks for sale.
