Election misdeeds, ‘lawfare’ and your responsibility

In my last column, I listed a series of dirty deeds that occurred before election day, and what can happen after election day, including more damaging behavior from Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (see: https://thecitizen.com/2024/10/29/what-happens-after-voting-day/).

Reminder: The Democrat elites will do anything to win the presidential election.

More election exploitation

The Democrats behind Kamala Harris are still at it all the way to election day. Here are some of the latest objectionable activities to add to a long list.

Bucks County, Pennsylvania’s board of elections, illegally shut down early polling places in areas favorable to Donald Trump at 1:45 p.m. The polls are required to be open until 5:00 p.m. Voters in line were being told to go home and come back later. A judge found the closings to be illegal, ordered the polls open for the required hours, and extended early voting several days.

Fulton County Board of Elections Registration Manager Kathryn Glenn sent out a memo stating, “There are NO WATCHERS approved for ballot drop off! Do not let them in the building. If they want to observe from the parking lot, you can’t stop that but they are not allowed to sit in the building. Have your security detail enforce it!!!” So, no one is allowed to see what Fulton County does with ballots dropped off and the county has security enforcement on-site.

As reported by the Daily Wire, the Biden-Harris administration has authorized massive overtime pay so Department of Homeland Security agents can grant temporary status to as many illegal immigrants as possible before a new president is inaugurated. Granting such status gives the illegals a list of benefits and privileges.

A federal judge in Ohio ruled against Democrats motioning in court to block the secretary of state’s rule requiring voters to show proof of citizenship if their status is unclear. Why would Harris campaign supporters not want to ensure proof of citizenship?

Arizona has laws prohibiting ballot harvesting, but elections officials tell election staff they cannot flag ballots collected through harvesting, claiming no enforcement capacity.

Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswald said she “accidentally” sent election ballots to 30,000 illegal voters. Griswald also “accidentally” posted the passwords to voting devices statewide on the internet, admitting to it once the media began reporting on it. No passwords were changed, nor were county election officials notified until the media reported on it.

Griswald’s office is investigating its own activity, not the attorney general or law enforcement. She is the official who tried to force Trump off the state’s election ballot.

We know for a fact that immigrants not allowed to vote have been voting in Ann Arbor, Michigan. A Chinese man admitted to voting using a student ID. The state was forced to press charges, and there is no telling how many other illegal voters were allowed to vote.

A voter in Kentucky pulled out her cell phone and recorded her frustrated attempt to vote for Trump on the touch screen. The attempts were futile, and the machine would not cast the vote. Multiple similar reports have been made public in Kentucky.

The Kamala Harris-endorsing newspaper, The New York Times, wrote a hit piece on conservative content on YouTube, attempting to browbeat the digital video platform to censor arguments opposing Harris (“Elections falsehoods take off on YouTube as it looks the other way,” NYT). The newspaper admitted it was relying on a left-biased Media Matters organization for its content positions.

Left-leaning pundit Bill Maher criticized national media outlets for claiming Donald Trump suggested putting former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming in front of a “firing squad.”

YouTube has cloaked Donald Trump’s two-hour interview with popular podcaster Joe Rogan, similar to shadow-banning, making it difficult to search for the video.

The US Supreme Court told Virginia that they could, indeed, follow Section 8 of the Voter Rights Act and remove deceased and illegal voters from the voter rolls after Democrats tried to block the action.

A judge’s ruling in Arizona is forcing Secretary of State Adrian Fontes to release a list of registered voters whose citizenship status was not verified due to a “coding glitch” in the state’s recording keeping system.

Extreme leftists bailing water

The extreme pro-Democrat bureaucratic forces were de-clawed when the “Twitter Files,” exposing dirty correspondence between the Biden-Harris administration and social media on censoring all sorts of non-leftist political and religious thought.

Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg admitted the Department of Justice was using intimidation to pressure the social media site to censor conservative political speech and material harmful to Joe Biden’s election campaign.

Elon Musk has brought free speech back to social media. The leftist bureaucratic bad boys and girls are furious. The Biden administration is using every federal agency possible to attack Musk’s businesses.

Lawfare tactics

The leftists next began trying to imprison Trump, filing a slew of charges against him in some of the left-leaning judicial circuits. The public has seen through their banana republic lawfare tactics.

New York Attorney General Letitia James, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis are now the subjects of ridicule.

The lawfare tactics were paired with tired, repetitive Adolph Hitler comparisons.

There was no momentum gained from the deprived attempts at defaming Trump. It was an uphill battle because these were the same people trying to convince elementary school children they were the opposite sex, forcing biological males onto girls’ sports teams and claiming that white males are racist at birth.

Even more extreme: assassination

We still do not know who is running the administrative branch of our federal government. High-ranking Democrats and influential Biden supporters have admitted that Joe Biden is not mentally competent.

The first assassination attempt on Trump in Pennsylvania, complete with a severe security breach, was a shrewd effort to create election chaos for Republicans. Trump had not yet announced his choice for vice president.

Had the bullets landed, there would have been a huge void in who succeeded Trump on the ballot. The powerful forces behind the scenes might have found bureaucrats’ favorite neo-conservative, Nikki Haley, an acceptable choice. Those forces would never accept someone like former congresswoman and veteran Tulsi Gabbard, who has spoken out against the military-industrial complex.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi and others had to pull off their informal version of the 25th Amendment, removing the Biden candidacy but leaving him in office. The coup landed Kamala Harris as the non-primary victor in Biden’s stead.

The second assassin, previously featured in the New York Times and other publications, was a Ukraine war advocate. He was known by the Department of Defense and the intelligence agencies.

Your turn

Election day has arrived.

One candidate, Trump, has survived every attempt to destabilize the election and our system of voting.

The other candidate, Harris, landed on your ballot by defying the democratic process through a behind-the-scenes coup of Joe Biden and no election primary participation.

Harris said on The View program that she cannot think of a single Biden policy that she would change.

We do not have to love a candidate to vote in a manner that serves our nation’s and future generations’ best interests. Both candidates can be tough to love, but both have significantly different records.

Job statistics are plummeting. Bankruptcies are climbing. More jobs are leaving the United States.

Twenty million illegal immigrants have crossed our southern border, many being criminals. The Biden administration is flying illegal immigrants into the United States. Billions of taxpayer dollars are being used to maintain the illegals in better accommodations than some Americans possess.

Donald Trump has attracted the most diverse coalition of supporters since Ronald Reagan. Be part of it.

I will be the first to admit that Trump is far from perfect, he’s just a lot better than Kamala Harris.

Please do not offer excuses for not voting. Go vote on Tuesday.

    • Things that make you go “hmmmm…..”

Harris got nearly 13,000,000 FEWER votes than Biden did in 2020. How would you explain that? Trump got 1,500,000 fewer in 24 than in 20. Where did all the Democrat voters go? How do you explain 13 MILLION votes that didn’t show up?

      • I don’t think that all of the votes have been counted yet, especially in California. The final tallies may make this clearer. Also, I haven’t seen totals for votes for other candidates in either 2020 or 2024. I have no idea if these votes have a bearing.

        • Then that right there is a problem. Votes should be counted and finalized – except for absentee / military votes – by noon the day after the election. FL does an amazing job…..don’t say it cant’ be done. The fact that results are not yet finalized leads to mistrust and suspicion. We can do better.

    • Wing – a few additional facts that should cause all to at least consider that there were electoral shenanigans in the 2020 presidential election.

      Total votes cast for president – – including all candidates – – according to NBC News: 2012 – 129M; 2016 – 137M; 2020 – 159M. As of this morning, 142.4M votes have been counted, according to Reuters.com.

Sure, all votes haven’t been counted yet, but to just match 2020 that’s 17M votes still outstanding. For the most contentious election of our lifetime? It really does make you go “hmmmmmm”.

  1. Who actually gives a rat’s ass about what Steve Brown thinks? It’s not like Steve is actually going to get up and any action based upon his beliefs. How cowardly is it to sit at home and share his opinions, but not take any action?

  2. Would it hurt Mr. Brown to start including citations or references (not links to his own previous columns) for what he offers as “facts”? I understand that “fact check” is a 4-letter word to some; however, when presenting your ideas as the truth, one would think the writer owes it to the reader to have done they’re homework. It takes less than a minute to debunk most of Mr. Brown’s claims.

Mr. Brown states, “The Biden administration is flying illegal immigrants into the United States.” From the CBP monthly report for September 2024 (cbp.gov), “DHS has resumed processing of new Advance Travel Authorizations (ATAs) in the parole processes for certain nationals of Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela (CHNV). As part of an internal review, DHS has implemented additional safeguards to the CHNV processes, incorporating rigorous enhanced vetting of US-based supporters, including biographic and biometric screening.
All CHNV beneficiaries continue to be thoroughly screened and vetted by CBP prior to their arrival to the United States and must meet other eligibility criteria authorization to travel to the United States in a safe, orderly, and lawful way once they purchase their own commercial airline tickets.
Through the end of September 2024, more than 531,000 Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans arrived lawfully on commercial flights and were granted parole under these processes. Specifically, more than 111,000 Cubans, nearly 214,000 Haitians, more than 96,000 Nicaraguans, and nearly 121,000 Venezuelans were vetted and authorized for travel; and more than 110,000 Cubans, nearly 211,000 Haitians, more than 93,000 Nicaraguans, and more than 117,000 Venezuelans arrived lawfully and were granted parole.
Since DHS has implemented these safe, orderly and lawful processes, encounters of CHNV nationals in between ports of entry are down 99%”

Individuals admitted under this program are not on a track to citizenship and cannot vote.

Mr. Brown states, “Bucks County, Pennsylvania’s board of elections, illegally shut down early polling places in areas favorable to Donald Trump at 1:45 p.m. The polls are required to be open until 5:00 p.m. Voters in line were being told to go home and come back later. A judge found the closings to be illegal, ordered the polls open for the required hours, and extended early voting several days.”

From The Guardian “In a statement, Bucks county admitted there had been some “miscommunication” from officials, resulting in those waiting “briefly being told they could not be accommodated”. But this was subsequently corrected, allowing them to submit applications.
“Contrary to what is being depicted on social media, if you are in line by 5pm for an on-demand mail-in ballot application, you will have the opportunity to submit your application for a mail-in ballot,” the county said.”
And from The AP, “A culprit in this latest controversy is a law that the Pennsylvania Legislature, then controlled by Republicans, passed in 2019 in an attempt to expand mail-in voting. They created a system for early voting very different than that in most states, where registered voters can go to a vote center in their county and cast a ballot before Election Day. Instead, in a practice known as “on-demand mail voting,” Pennsylvania voters can show up at their county government offices, request a mail ballot and then fill out an application. That form has to be reviewed to make sure the person is an eligible voter and then approved. Once that happens, a ballot has to be printed. It’s a process that can take about 12 minutes per voter, if everything goes right. Voters have the option of filling out the ballot on the spot and turning it in, taking it home or asking that it get mailed to their house. If they don’t fill out the ballot right away, they can return it through the Postal Service or place it in a drop box. County election officials say they need more funding to hire staff to help with on-demand early voting and are trying to accommodate the surge of voters. Compounding the problem is that offices have just a single printer especially designed for the early in-person ballots, which include inner and outer envelopes. The process and voter demand have strained election offices and upset voters. “It’s an uncertain process for a lot of people because it’s still relatively new, and it’s also kind of inefficient,” said Bucks County Board of Elections Chairman Bob Harvie in an interview. “There’s definitely changes that need to be made.”

Mr. Brown says, “A voter in Kentucky pulled out her cell phone and recorded her frustrated attempt to vote for Trump on the touch screen. The attempts were futile, and the machine would not cast the vote. Multiple similar reports have been made public in Kentucky.”
From the Co-Chair of the RNC, Lara Trump, “The legal team at @GOP immediately investigated a voter’s report of a machine malfunction that wouldn’t select President Trump in Kentucky,” she wrote on the social media platform X. “We called election officials directly. They separated the machine, conducted proper testing, didn’t find any errors, and confirmed that voters could cast their ballots properly.”
And from TheHill, ““Most commonly, reported instances stem from a voter not touching the text box in the correct place. In this case, you can see the voter is attempting to touch the tiny check box. They can touch anywhere inside the large box containing the candidate’s name,” Election Systems and Software said in a statement to The Hill.”

These are just examples from this lone column. Whether you agree with Mr. Brown or not, at least do you own homework. Please do not take what he puts forth as gospel just because it aligns with what you believe or want to hear. If he’s not going to bother to back up his claims, then it’s up to the reader to challenge the ideas presented.

      • Thank you for adding this fact check. None of the claims of fraud that were made in 2020 have withstood scrutiny, but they still could have led to a constitutional crises had VP Pence not had the courage to follow the law. As you point out, the claims that are already circulating this year have been addressed. But, it is already evident that Trump is planning to use these false claims as his Plan B should the actual election not go his way. It is important to quickly identify election misinformation so that we do not have more violence.

  3. “I don’t think Ivanka would do that inside the magazine. Although she does have a very nice figure. I’ve said that if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I would be dating her.”

“I will build a great wall — and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me –and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.”

“He’s not a war hero. He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”

“I dealt with Qaddafi. I rented him a piece of land. He paid me more for one night than the land was worth for two years, and then I didn’t let him use the land. That’s what we should be doing. I don’t want to use the word ‘screwed’, but I screwed him. That’s what we should be doing.”

    “I love the poorly educated.”

  4. You forgot to mention that only one candidate encouraged his followers to come to Washington D.C. where he promised things were going to be wild and that people should fight like hell or they would no longer have a country. He called out his V.P. as a traitor for upholding his constitutional duties. And then he sat by in the White House as a mob stormed the Capitol. All of this after he had lost every court case contesting the results of the election. Only one candidate, plus you, are now sowing the seeds for another uprising after Vice President Harris wins the election today. I remember the good old days when Republicans honored the Constitution.
