Margaret graduated with a degree from Indiana University. She married Thomas Joseph O’Toole on October 20, 1962, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dunnington, Indiana. They remained married for 59 years until his death in May 2022.

As a graduate of Indiana University, Margaret loved watching the Hoosiers play basketball, celebrating every victory. She was a registered dietician and loved cooking for family and friends. She especially loved to bake. No one ever left her house hungry or without extra food to take home.

Margaret loved crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. Her favorite color was blue. She often said she loved wearing anything that was “soft and blue”. Mostly, though, Margaret loved her family. Gatherings were an event where everyone knew they were loved individually and as a whole. No one ever left her without a hug.

Margaret is survived by her sons, Tim (Heather) O’Toole and Michael O’Toole; daughters, Patty (Chip) Sanders and Katy Morgan and her husband, Clint Taylor; and fourteen grandchildren, Bekah Crosby, Graydon Morgan, Gabriel Morgan, Michael O’Toole, Eli O’Toole, Noah O’Toole, Meaghan O’Toole, Maggie Jane O’Toole, Thomas O’Toole, Mac Sanders, Bridget Sanders, Jake Sanders, Zane Taylor and Piper Taylor; and one great-grandson Ronan Crosby.

A memorial mass will be held on Monday, June 10th at 11:30 a.m. at The Catholic Church of Saint Gabriel in Fayetteville, Georgia. Prior to the mass, the family will receive visitors starting at 10:30.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society.
