Whitewater competes at DECA International

Whitewater High had a strong showing at the DECA International Career Development Conference in Anaheim, CA.

A pair of Wildcats placed in the top 10 in Role Play events and made the big stage. Junior Zaire Brown placed in Business Services Marketing, and freshman Naomi Martin placed in Food Marketing.

The Whitewater contingent was among over 20,000 students competing this year.

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. As an integral part of the classroom curriculum, DECA’s industry-validated competitive events are aligned with the National Curriculum Standards, and directly contribute to every student being college and career ready when they graduate from high school.
