A pair of Patriots put their art up for display on a special stage. Sandy Creek High seniors Calla Hanna and Gwendolyn Maddox were selected to represent Fayette County in the annual Capitol Art Exhibition at the Georgia State Capitol.

Hanna’s piece was graphite on paper. Maddox’s piece was acrylic on canvas paper.

Among those on hand to celebrate Hanna and Maddox were Sandy Creek Assistant Principal Collin Haynes, their art instructor Stephanie Stein, and State Representative Derrick Jackson.
