An alleged drug offender seemed to be avoiding law enforcement — until he failed to avoid another vehicle on the road.
“If you’re going to drive around with 831 grams of marijuana, a pistol, and an abundance of drug-related objects, it might be best to avoid collisions with other vehicles,” according to a statement from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
An investigator working a traffic accident Feb. 5 discovered the illegal items that led to the arrest of the suspect.
Omolayo Adenrele, 31, of Stone Mountain faces charges of possession with intent to distribute, possession/use of drug-related objects and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to the FCSO.
