McIntosh raising funds to raise some shade

The McIntosh High PTSO wants to make sure the Chiefs have it made in the shade, and they are raising funds to add umbrella structures to the courtyard.

The PTSO works year round to keep the school’s courtyard looking great, providing regular maintenance, as well as a yearly assessment of needs, such as pressure washing, the addition of mulch in the garden bed areas, weed control, and tree trimming.

Now, they aim to add an amenity to make lunch time more pleasant for students. A fundraiser will help the PTSO purchase permanent Hypar Umbrella structures to cast shade onto the areas where students eat lunch.
